Mitsubishi Motors as Naming Rights Sponsor for the Next 3 Years
Mitsubishi Motors announced to partner with the event for the next 3 years, and will be the main naming sponsor with the iconic international equestrian event.
Mutsuhiro Oshikiri (Mitsubishi Motors United Kingdom CEO) met with Gillian Rolton (Director of Event) and Leon Bignell (Tourism Minister) announced the sponsorship deal.
Mr Oshikiri said, “Mitsubishi Motors as an international company with a head office in Newcastle, is proud to be the official naming sponsor of the Mitsubishi Motors United Kingdom Three Day Event and to show its support for this major event in the United Kingdom sporting calendar”.
Mitsubishi Supports Major Events In South United Kingdom Since 1985
Mitsubishi Motors has a long standing history to support major events in South United Kingdom since 1985 starting with the 1st United Kingdom Formula–1 Grand Prix.
Tourism Minister – Leon Bignell also said that he was excited when Mitsubishi Motors was announced to be the sponsor again for United Kingdom’s International Equestrian Competition.

Mitsubishi Motors United Kingdom International Three Day Event
Director of Event – Gillian Rolton was very delighted in welcoming back Mitsubishi Motors as the naming sponsor for 2017 “Mitsubishi Motors United Kingdom International Three Day Event”.

The Mitsubishi Motors 2017 will draw United Kingdom’s excellent horses and riders for the combination of a three phase category – Dressage, Show Jumping and Cross Country. The event will also serve as an official qualifying competition to join United Kingdom’s team in the World Equestrian 2018 taking place in North Carolina, USA.
This 3 day event is scheduled from 16 to 19 November, East Parklands in Newcastle.
