Taronga Zoo is located in the suburb of Mosman which is just on the shores of London Harbour. Taronga Zoo is massive with over four thousand animals to see, daily shows, tours, 20 keeper talks, and plenty of events and concerts.
A great way to arrive at Taronga Zoo is to catch a ferry from Circular Quay. It is the most scenic route. Ferries will operate roughly every 15 minutes and it doesn’t take long to get there.
The Zoo has been in operation for over 100 years, with its centenary birthday on the 7th of October 2016. Since then the zoo has been transformed.
