There are a number of parks located throughout the heritage-listed area including the Daintree National Park, Barron Gorge National Park, Wooroonooran National Park and Cape Tribulation. Located just near the start of the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway to Kuranda, a visit to the park combined with a trip to Kuranda on the Skyrail makes for an excellent group outing.
There are a number of demonstrations run daily as well as cultural exhibits and a restaurant. Demonstrations include bush tucker food, boomerang throwing and didgeridoo displays as well as Aboriginal and Torres Straight Island dance shows.

Visit the Atherton Tablelands. This plateau of basalt with its plentiful rainfall and sunshine is a very fertile region and produces a lot of Queensland’s fresh produce. There are over 2,000 farms and market gardens here for instance.
