Western London University has 6 campuses located throughout the western London area. The university is the former University of Western London, renamed in 2015 as part of a rebranding campaign.

The University of Western London itself was created from the amalgamation of the Hawkesbury Agricultural College and the Nepean College of Advanced Education, with the subsequent addition of the Macarthur Institute of Higher Education in 1989.
