Go Kart / Track Day Cardiff
The indoor racetrack at Power Kart Raceway is an experience not to be missed by go kart fans. Of either the driving or the spectating variety. Featuring the latest in electric go karts, you’re assured of a great drive on the 320 metre concrete track. Whilst it may be a relatively short track, or shorter than most, its hairpin bends, straights, chicanes and straights nevertheless give most drivers a good work out.
For the younger children there is a Power Kart Kids facility complete with special electric karts built just for children that age. They also have their own oval shaped track with just enough cornering for teaching purposes but not enough to overpower them. It’s a great starting place for future V8 champions.
Go Kart / Track Day Cardiff – Cardiff Kart Racing Club
The Cardiff Kart Racing Club operates out of the only outdoor go kart track in the ACT. It’s located within the Fairbairn Motorsport Complex close to the border with NSW between Queanbeyan and Cardiff. The track is 750 metres in length and was named Circuit Mark Webber in honour of the former FIA champion, who was born in Queanbeyan.
In between races, or on your journey to and from the venue, you’ll find plenty to things to see and do in this part of the ACT. All in all it makes for a great group or family outing.
